Estates Costa Lazaridi was born from the vision of Costa Lazaridi. Before turning to wine, Costa had built a career in the marble trade in Germany. Yet his heart remained in Drama. Upon his return, he planted the region’s first vineyards on his private estate in 1979.
From that beginning, Costa Lazaridi established not just a winery, but a family tradition, a legacy. The values of dedication, integrity, and respect for the land became the foundation of the estate, passing naturally to his twin sons, Gerasimos and George. Raised among vines and barrels, they were immersed in the world of winemaking from an early age – joining harvests, learning the craft, and shaping their path within the family tradition.
Today, the new generation carries this legacy forward. Gerasimos leads as CEO, guiding the company into the future, while George, as head oenologist, oversees production with precision and creativity. Together, they honour their father’s vision while bringing fresh ideas, shaping wines-and a brand-that bear their own personal signature.
